Pilot Winds app for iPhone is a casual pick up and play type of fun endurance game from Two Lives Left. You can’t help but notice the similarities with Tiny Wings, thanks to the similar theme, but Pilot Wind comes with more game play. How Pilot Winds App is played?
In Pilot Winds iPhone app, you have your pilot sliding along lines at great speeds, and you attempt to beat your old score every time you play. To start with, you choose your pilot, which is the default one. You can unlock a secret character, once you score 1, 20,000 in Mad Minutes mode. To get used to the game rules, it is advisable to go through the training mode couple of times at least. There is also a free play mode.
You tap on the right-hand side bottom icon to control the movements of the Pilot as it slides on a string between snow covered peaks. Tap on it to bounce or ‘whoosh’ your pilot towards the target. Couple of games in the training mode would help you get used to the process of managing your pilot’s journey. A timer on the top of the screen counts your time down from 60 seconds. The game is all about how far you could travel in the given 60 seconds. iPhone Pilot Winds game comes loaded with Training Mode, Bonuses, Choose Pilot and Mad Minute. If you pay the 99 cents, you can unlock Checkpoint Mode, Bonus Play, and Freeplay.
In the ‘Checkpoint Mode’, you can simultaneously view the progress of your Pilot on its path, between two snow covered peaks (check points), on the bottom of the screen. In ‘Bonus Mode’, points are added based on only the bonuses you earn. Your job is to break the check points and find out new ways to rack up the bonuses. You can find the bonuses you’ve won under the ‘Bonus’ tab. In Free Play, you can try all your stunts without any time limits. Unfortunately, this comes with a price. The graphics looks excellent on the Retina display. The game is responsive and game play enjoyable.
