Whese App for iPhone Review
When Twitter was launched few years ago, the 140 character limit sounded unimpressive. But users slowly bought into this idea that effectively removed the clutter of Orkut or Facebook. Similarly, Whese app for iPhone has social image sharing at its most distilled. It let you take and share selfies with comments to your friends who are Whese mates. You can get Whese app for free from iTunes App Store.
Features
Whese app for iPhone let you click selfies and share it with your other Whese mates. On the photo, you can add a tag, slap a catchy phrase or throw in a location, and it speaks thousand words. And yes, you’re Whesing! Not a familiar word? Well, the term ‘tweeting’ was also like that few years back. Whese for iPhone is a simple app. On firing up the app, you’ll see a live image feed of your friends’ latest images. From there, simply swipe to the right to the photo booth or a swipe to the left to view your personal screen with your own posts. Your iPhone’s front camera is selected by default as it is the core idea here. But anytime your main camera is just a button click away.
But Whese for iPhone has two glaring omissions. For one, it does not come with a lens filter and it is a bit odd. Other similar apps provide that feature. Secondly, you can’t import photos from your camera roll. May be Whese wants users to click new selfies as it is core to the functionality of this app. How far Whese app for iPhone will be of use to you depends on the size of social network you have on the app. In fact, it is the same hurdle that every social network app faces: you got to have enough people online to attract more people. To effectively use Whese, you’ll have to do some serious marketing in Facebook and Twitter to gather enough people into the app. And it is not so easy!
Conclusion
If you eventually manage to build a social network of your friends in Whese, the app will be an ideal platform to share your selfies. Its concept is pretty simple and straight, without the clutter of Facebook or Google+. The UI is user friendly. It is perplexing however that the app does not support photo import from your iPhone’s camera roll. The app is stable and responsive as well. The bottom-line: Whese has an interesting and never before tested concept. If you’re curious, go ahead and check it out.
