2Do iPhone App Review
2Do for iPhone provides a different approach to managing your tasks. The best part is that it does not force users to stick to a particular task management methodology. Those looking for a GTD style task manager should check this one out. You can download 2Do for free from iTunes App Store.
Features
2Do for iPhone offers a great middle ground for users who are looking for lot of GTD like features, but does not wish to invest in GTD or Omnifocus. With its comprehensive and flexible set of powerful features, the app lets you focus on what’s most important to you: your life. Specifically, 2Do is extremely flexible and customizable, with a tab-based UI that supports drag and drop rearranging of items, as well as multiple options for each item. For example, users can opt to set a reminder as message, email or sound. 2Do also integrates fully with Siri, iCloud and Reminders. Particularly, each tab in 2Do for iPhone becomes a separate list in the default Reminders app and each Reminder is automatically added to 2Do’s Reminders tab.
2Do app is ideally suited for those who deal with multiple projects, want to organize items with tags, and need checklists/subtasks for certain tasks. Later, it will be easy to search a particular project or task by its tag. Everything in the app can be customized, from color coding of projects to number of alerts/notifications to due timings and more. The app syncs with Dropbox, Toodledo, Caldav, Mac/PC, iCloud, Dropbox, and Outlook via a helper app. It also supports multiple languages. 2Do app for iPhone got lots of features, and it is also is its slight downside. It will take some effort and time to master all of its features. The UI is not very intuitive either. Strangely, it does not have a straightforward tutorial section either. But once you get used to its features, you’ll realize that 2Do is a powerful task management app. 2Do requires iOS versions 8.2 or higher.
Conclusion
2Do app for iPhone makes complex task management quicker and streamlined. Even though it might take some time to get used to its various features and functions, once you get a hang of things, it will be easier to use the app. Customizable options add to the flexibility of using the app. Its search feature is also robust. Due to its many features, the UI is not exactly user friendly. The help section does not help much either. But save these apparent downsides, the app comes across as a reliable enough task management tool capable of managing even complex project tasks.
