Feature Rich and User Friendly
There are lots of apps for discovering and building a watch list of films. But CineTrak for Android is by far the most feature-rich and polished of the lot. It was previously part of the Google Early Access Program and is now available to everyone. Built on Google Material Design, the app offers a gamified environment which makes watching movies and TV shows more fun and entertaining. In the app, you can make a list of movies you wish to watch. Also, you can make a second list of movies that you’d already watched so that you’ll never again get halfway through a movie only to realize that you’ve watched it already and it was forgettable. Users can also rate movies and the app builds a third list based on you ratings. You can search movies by their names or genre. You can also check what is coming soon, and results are shown as big poster-like images.
Simply click on a movie image to view its length, release date, trailer, synopsis, cast and crew and its ratings both from users of the app, as well as from other sources, including IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic. You can also add your reviews of the movies that you’d watched. Anytime you can look back and find how many movies you’d watched and how long you have spent watching them. The UI layout of CineTrak for Android is user friendly. It is easy to search for a particular movie, or read a movie review. The app is also slick and responsive. CineTrak requires Android OS 4.4+.

CineTrak Android app is total free of cost. But if you find the ads annoying, you can get rid of them through an IAP for $2.99. The paid version also gives you access to curated lists, staff picks and unlock the ability to collect achievements. If you are a regular movie watcher, this is not a big amount to pay for the services you get.
