Conclusion

On a sadder note, I went to the store the other day and almost blew a brain fuse of the kid behind the register.  You may have experienced this recently also; anytime you give the cashier the change they need or change to round up, there’s this desperate and blank stare that comes across their face.  That blank stare is their mind searching for information that may not be there anymore and I for one blame technology.  Sure, I love technology, especially technology that makes life a lot easier, but apps, calculators, registers all of these things that we are slowly and completely relying on for information might be hurting us, especially the cashiers.  A lot of us have virtually let go of the ability to do math, even simple money math in our heads.

 

So, while ConvertPad is incredibly awesome, try to use it sparingly and not as a replacement for the actual ability to do some simple conversions and equations in your head.  As a learning tool, ConvertPad can help young students when they get stuck on a problem.  Business travelers will love this app, especially if they go overseas.  Instead of fumbling through your app list for different conversion tools, ConvertPad puts them altogether in one easy to use and easy to find tool.
