FaceRivals app for iPhone is a silly quiz game application, but certainly a good time pass that you’ll enjoy most times. This online quiz game is all about answering some questions over a number of rounds, and in the process, makes your opponent look like a fool. If you get the answers wrong, it’ll be you in his place. To start with, take a picture of yours, and resize it appropriately to create your avatar. You can either match up against your friends, or pick someone randomly online. You also get the option to give funny avatars to your opponents. Once you find someone, and picked a topic, you’ll start by answering a set of multiple choice questions, and you’re assigned points based the number of correct answers made and time taken in doing so. You are then taken back to the main screen where you’ll find the status of your opponent. Here comes the tricky part. What if your opponent is not online at the moment?
Actually, iPhone FaceRivals app lets you create multiple quizzes, send out open invitations on various topics, or even invite some of your friends to take part in the quizzes. You can also reply to incoming invitations at leisure.
The funny part of the game comes when you win or lose the duel. When you win, you can give the opponent’s face a silly hat or mustache, or even a caption/sound effects. FaceRivals support Game Center leader boards. But it has its own user list. Also missing is Bluetooth multiplayer. The graphics is colorful and funny, so is the sound effect. Performance wise, the app runs smoothly all the time. On the downside, it was found that questions sometimes repeat themselves. Hopefully, the developers would soon take note of this glitch, and fix it forever.
