Flashlight Illuminus app let you use the rear flash of your Android phone as a flashlight. In fact, not only does it let you toggle the flashlight on/off, but also provides a strobe mode wherein you can control the flashing frequency. Flashlight Illuminus app for Android is a very minimalistic application. The UI is simple and has one toggle button that let you turn the rear flash on/off. The flash remains ON until you tap the toggle button again. There is another feature tucked at the top of the interface that is quite easy to miss – strobe function. Swiping from left to right on the said area activates the strobe functionality. Continue swiping and the strobe frequency will also increase up to the maximum limit. Do the opposite to reduce the flashing frequency and eventually turn off the strobe. Interestingly, this action can be done with the rear flash on or off- it doesn’t matter.

At the bottom right of the screen are three different indicators/dialogue buttons. This indicates the current strobe frequency. If the strobe is off, it displays ‘00’.
