Idle Sword for Android is an action packed game wherein you got to battle your way through dungeons with up to four warriors to defeat. The game seemingly combines Idle as well as RPG genres. Idle Sword may be downloaded free of cost from iTunes App Store.

Features

The premise in Idle Sword game app for iPhone is that a wizard had kidnapped your warriors. They need to escape his dungeons. To do that, you got to battle through a hoard of monsters in the dungeons to find up to four warriors and collect items and equipment to add to your warriors” arsenals. This includes armor, shields, axes, swords, bow and arrows, rings, potions to heal your warriors etc. You can also pick up currency, which can be used to unlock dungeons and increase your tap strength. It should be noted that you can’t direct the movement of warriors in any way you might want. Instead, the best you can do is to equip them to get through the dungeons, and tap the monsters to wipe them out.

Idle Sword iPhone Game App Review

In a sense, the game play of Idle Sword is somewhat limited. Apart from equipping your warriors, selling items in your inventory and tapping ceaselessly to kill monsters when you get to higher dungeon floors, there is nothing much to do in the game. At the lower floors, you might become a spectator at times as your warriors battle it out. The graphics is below par. The colors are limited while the sprites appear pixellated at the edges. The sound effects are also average at best. The soundtrack is strangely the same for all dungeon floors, which is a big letdown. The game, however, is stable and responsive.

Conclusion

Idle Sword app for iPhone is the iOS version of the popular web based game. But we must admit that the graphics and soundtrack of the web based game is marginally better than the mobile version. The graphics is below par, while the sound effects are not inspiring either. The game play can soon get boring, given the monotonous nature of tapping and killing monsters. The game is found to be stable and responsive. Overall, an Idle action game to kill your free time. Not suitable for the long haul though.
