| December 29, 2015 | 1 Comment

Moving Books! Jajajajan for iPhone is an educational app for kids, filled with delightfully animated stories and songs such as the “Three Little Pigs”, “Jack and the Beanstalk”. Most importantly, it got plenty of contents to keep your kids busy for hours on end. You can download Moving Books! Jajajajan for free from iTunes.

Features

Moving Books! Jajajajan iPhone app allows kids to sing and read along with various fables, bedtime stories and nursery rhymes. It is essentially a virtual bookshelf for dozens of songs and stories. On firing up the app, users are prompted to select one from the tabs on top of the screen, and scrolling right/left to see what is available. Each of the stories and songs are fully animated, complete with subtitles and full voice recording so that the kids won’t have any trouble following the action unfolding onscreen. While checking out the app, we felt that some of the voice work was a bit patchy in certain areas. But that is not a distraction as the dialogues don’t linger for too long, and this helps you to move on. The UI of Moving Books! Jajajajan app for iPhone looks gorgeous to say the least. The “Dora The Explorer” inspired visuals pop, ebb and flow with animated joy, and it is a visual treat for anyone who is using the app. Every story and song is presented in clear vibrant font that is easy to read.

The only interface problem that we’d encountered is in the options menu, which is accessible only via a child lock code that generates a new number every time you wish to use it. In other words, you’ll be prompted for a code every time you attempt to view the settings and this is quite irksome if you happen to use the app for extended durations. Yes, it is necessary to hide certain aspects from the kids. But what is the need to have every single option hidden behind a code? It is pretty ridiculous. The app is a breeze to navigate. But each song/book requires a download before it can be used. Once downloaded, it can be accessed and used offline anytime. The app is largely stable and responsive as well.

Conclusion

Moving Books! Jajajajan app for iPhone has managed to put together all the popular nursery rhymes, stories and fables you’ll need to keep the youngsters entertained. Since every story and song is downloaded individually, it is imperative that you got a stable internet connection in your iPhone. The app is well designed and easy to use. But, the ever-changing child lock code is a bit of an annoyance to say the least. Check it out if you’re looking for a fun and engaging storybook app for your preschool kids.
