Plans app for iPhone can be broken down into three sections: Plans, Calendar and Budgets. Plans involve your actual list of plans and corresponding tasks. Under Plan, you got a number of tasks that you need to assign. The tasks are then color coded indicating whether they have not been started yet, are going on, or are overdue. You only got to tap on the tasks to mark it completed, edit the details further, or view notes related to that task. You can move your phone into landscape mode for a larger view of your schedules. In landscape mode, you can use tap and drag controls to adjust the scheduling of tasks. The Calendar section displays the tasks and the days allocated to said tasks. Again landscape mode provides a better view of things. This helps you manage the tasks from multiple projects on a single screen.
The third section is Budgets. Any project will have a finance part that is very crucial to its progress. The Budget tab demonstrates the planned and actual expenses of a project. You can specify how much you expect to spend on any given item in the ‘Estimates’ column, and later add in actual expenditure as it arises. The app also makes uses of iPhone’s own Reminders tool to give you notifications when a task is due as well as push data to iCal. Further, it automatically reschedules when a plan changes. The UI layout is user friendly. The app is also found to be pretty stable and responsive.

In other words, you got to upgrade to the Pro version to be able to create unlimited number of tasks, do away with the ads and to edit and use example plans.
