Six Guns App for Android Review
Six Guns App for Android is a Wild West themed, mission based game application wherein you play outlaw Buck Crosshaw, who is attempting to escape Arizona. The game has 40missions to complete, each with varying tasks and challenges. Six Guns Android app may be downloaded for free from Google Play.
How Six Guns Android App Works?
In Six Guns app for Android, you basically travel around the old Arizona and Oregon and take missions accessible from the mini map. Click on any mission to find out the payouts, which usually are coins and XP. The missions range from killing ghouls, bandits and robbers to racing horses and fighting off wave of enemies. Even there is ‘King of the Hill’ type missions thrown in, which adds to the game’s variety. The bottom line is you shoot things, even though you also have the ability to do melee attacks with your fist.
In Six Guns, you shoot by tapping on the revolver icon on the screen. The main menu/function buttons are laid out at the top of the screen. The character can crouch and roll, mount horses, ride, shoot, and pretty much everything a cowboy is supposed to do. The Store icon gives you access to guns, bullets, clothing, horses, and medicine. You’ve got 20 guns to choose from, including the “Rusty Gun”, “Tesla Gun”, and “Gatling Annihilator”, plus multiple gears, and 9 horses including a mechanical horse. Every items is purchased using coins and badges, the latter being ‘premium’ as it is a tad hard to come by.
The graphics of Six Guns Android application is intensive. So it goes without mention that the game suits high-end smart phones better. The game is about 230 MB, which is more than the total RAM of most basic Android handsets. On the downside, it was found that the controls are sketchy at times. But then it is a free app, and you can’t expect a Red Dead like experience with Six Guns.
Final Thoughts
Six Guns app for Android is a solid game with lots of depth, save few control issues that hopefully will be rectified soon. The UI is user friendly, as you won’t have trouble accessing the various options on the screen. Even though the game is free, you might have to make in-app purchases at times. On the downside, the game runs smoothly only on devices with high processing power/RAM. Verdict: Six Guns is a handy game to kill boredom.
