In the first look, Sky Hex app for Android is a basic game. It does not go overboard with any graphics or visual effects. Instead, it focuses on the game play. In the game, you got to place hexes on the board. Hexes are displayed as numbers on the right hand side, and all you got to do is to tap a cell to place the hex. Now, if you manage to place a number next to your opponent wherein said number is higher than their number, their hex changes to your color. The game progresses pretty quickly. First time users may refer to the tutorial to know about the nuances of the game. As of today, Sky Hex app for Android features 60 exciting levels. It appears that the developers are planning to add more in the upcoming updates. Strangely, the app does not support multi-player mode. It is fun to play against the artificial intelligence. But at some level, you might want to compete against a real human, and with Sky Hex, you don’t have such an option.
Sky Hex also features an in-game store from where you can purchase different skins for the hex pieces. You can either use the gold you earned while playing the game or by purchasing gems via IAP. The game is slick and responsive. We have not encountered any lags or freezes. The game is ad-supported. But they’re not overtly intrusive and you can get rid of them by paying $2.
