SociaLink App for iPhone Review
SociaLink, as its name suggests, is a social networking app for iPhone that let you connect with your friends in Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or Instagram using Bluetooth. Instead of searching and finding someone’s profile in SNS, SociaLink let you connect to the desired SNS in one go. You can get SociaLink iPhone app for free from iTunes App Store.
Features
SociaLink for iPhone provides a much streamlined way of culling a person’s social networking information. You set up your social account info once, and you’re ready to share that info with any device. With the app, you can add people on multiple social networks through the use of Bluetooth. SociaLink instantly sends friend requests and follows through Bluetooth to people you meet in-person on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Tumblr when you are introduced to someone new. Similarly, whenever you meet someone with SociaLink, open the app, select the networks you want to connect on, and with the click of a button, you can be connected on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
If the person you want to connect with doesn’t have SociaLink app yet, use the email function. Input the email address of the person you want to link with and all of your social networking page links will be sent to them through email. The email will also contain a link to download SociaLink for the next time you want to connect. Surprisingly, SociaLink for iPhone does not support Google+, which also has lots of users around the globe. Also snubbed are SNS such as Orkut, Pinterest, and Youtube. SociaLink is compatible with iOS versions 6.0 or later.
Final Thoughts
Gone are the days where connecting with someone socially requires extra time and effort. Instead of meeting someone in-person, writing down their name and social media links, getting home, looking them up, and repeating the process for all your social media sites, you can do this in a single step and all for free with SociaLink app for iPhone. If someone does not have SociaLink, you can send him/her one via email feature. The app is stable and responsive for most parts. Lack of support for Google+ is perplexing though. To sum it up, a social network app with lots of promise and potential to get better with time.
