Vidiloop Android App Review

| June 20, 2015 | 2 Comments

Vidiloop app for Android provides an easy way to create and share short video clips. A bit similar to the popular Vine, Vidiloop let you start or stop a recording with a single tap of your finger. You can get Vidiloop for free from Google Play Store.

Features

Vidiloop app for Android allows you to create ten seconds video comprising of small fragments. It is a cool way to capture several moments and put them together. For the user, you only got to create a Vidiloop account and start recording. Recording is easy. Simply tap on the screen and hold it as long as you wish to record your video clip. Release the finger to stop recording. The only limitation is that the video clips can only be 10 seconds long. Since the app is in its beta version, there could be stability issues like unwarranted crashes at times. But it is still functional and such anomalies are sporadic at best.

Vidiloop Android App

Vidiloop for Android acts as a standalone social network in a sense. For example, apart from sharing videos, you can love (like LIKE in FB) or comment on other’s videos. You can also create your personal profile, complete with a photograph. When you watch a video, you’ll notice that it loops indefinitely, and appears like a GIF-movie. Perhaps, Vidiloop wants it to be in that way. You can check the popular Vidiloop videos as well as the latest ones posted by users. Simply swipe down on the screen to refresh the Vidiloop list. If the app misses something, it has to be the ability to tag or categorize videos. Such an arrangement would have made video searches to be more easy and productive. The app requires Android OS versions 4.1 and above.

Final Thoughts

Vidiloop app for Android let you create and share video clips of ten seconds duration. It is essentially a social network for video clips wherein you can share your video as well as ‘love’ and comment on other video clips. At present, you can’t tag or categorize videos and this makes finding your favorite videos a bit winding process. Performance wise, the app is not as stable as we would have liked it. But then it is still in its beta stage and thing should improve once the full version is released. The app is not ad-supported, and there aren’t any in-app purchases either. To sum it up, if you’d like to get creative with short video compilations, Vidiloop is certainly worth a try. After all, it is free!
