XnRetro App Features
With XnRetro app for Android, you can either click a new photo or use one from your gallery. You can either choose to work on the entire photo or crop it. If you prefer the latter option, the app gives you pre-defined shapes such as rectangle or square that you can resize. The various options to add effects can be found at the bottom of the screen. Starting from the left, the first option let you vary the contrast, brightness, and saturation. From the next option, you can choose from up to twenty retro styles to apply to the photo. Tap on each one of those effects to see how it looks on your photo. The third option let you choose the extent of vignette you want on your photo. If you increase it, the border on your photo becomes more faded. The fourth option provides another 15 effects that include glass, leak, bokeh, and light. The fifth option let you add a frame to your picture. The app got about 26 frames to choose from.
Once done with the edit, it is time to save the photo. Tap on the disc icon at the top right, and you can save it in three sizes: small (512px max), medium (1024px max), and large (2048px max). Smaller sizes would come handy if you want to post it in Facebook or Twitter. You can also share your photos to Google+, Picasa, Dropbox, or via Gmail. The finished product does not carry any watermarks. There aren’t any annoying ad banners either. The app is compatible with Android OS 2.2 and up.
