The Game
In Bubblegum Hero game for iPhone, your main goal is to make the right bubblegum balloon. Not too small or it will flop and not too large or it will blast in your face. Make it perfect and you’ll get a combo multiplier and the leaderboard will be yours. Beware though, the higher combo you score, the more difficult the game will get. But then, that is what the fun is all about. Before playing the game, you assume the role of one of the heroes. There are over 20 heroes to pick from. Each one of them is a real bubble-gum aficionado and playing as a different hero is where the joy comes from, especially when you pop the balloon and the gum blasts all over your face. The gums differ in different worlds. That is, on each world, you draw from a different gumball.
Each of the gums has a different name, flavor, and skin, as well as properties like points, speed, perfect, range and cash. There are 30 bubble gums with different characteristics and 5 worlds to unlock. I found it lots of fun as well as challenge to play the ‘real life’ mode wherein you literally blow the bubble by blowing to the microphone of your iPhone. Well, that is something you can show off at the next gathering you’re in. The graphics and animations are excellent. The controls are easy to grasp. It also got an Apple Watch mini game version. Bubblegum Hero requires iOS versions 9.0 or higher.
