For those puzzle lovers, who might want a game that is attractive and fun filled, check this one out: ON/OFF app for iPhone. It is a stunning yet minimalistic puzzle game wherein you goal is to move tiles into lines, thereby connecting two switches allowing you to turn them ‘on’. You can get the app for free.

Features

The mechanics of ON/OFF iPhone app is simple and straightforward. You got to move or slide tiles around the screen until the correct colored tiles are lined up, with the matching colored switches. Despite it appears simple in theory, the puzzles are extremely difficult to solve as you move through the levels. The design of ON/OFF for iPhone is excellent, both in terms of how the interface is laid out as well as how the puzzles are rendered on screen. You only have to bother about the three buttons seen at the top of the screen: a back button to go to the level selection menu, a key icon for using a key to skip a level, and a “recycle” icon that resets the level. The levels can be played in any order as you wish.

ON OFF iPhone Game App review

From a player perspective, the entire gaming experience with ON/OFF app for iPhone is polished and impressive. The puzzles are compelling. The difficulty levels are relatively high. However, there is no means by which you could say the difficulty levels of a given puzzle. Something like a star rating to indicate the difficulty level of puzzles would have been just perfect. The app is stable and responsive. The layouts load without any delay. The app has 11 levels by default. Additional packs of three worlds costs $0.99 extra. ON/OFF app is compatible with iOS 5.0 or later.

Final Thoughts

If you love colorful yet brain scratching puzzlers, ON/OFF for iPhone is an excellent option. The game has a simple setting, but pretty difficult levels to surmount. You can play the levels in any order. The interface as well as the way puzzles are laid on screen is impressive. The controls are intuitive. It is a pity that difficulty levels of the puzzles are not properly rated. Until you play one yourself, there is no way you could gauge its difficulty level. The app is stable and responsive. Overall, a puzzler that is beautiful and fun to play. Check it out.
