Squid – Take Notes & Markup PDFs Android App Review

| September 26, 2021 | 0 Comments

Squid – Take Notes & Markup PDFs for Android allows users to take natural handwritten notes on a variety of devices. Squid allows us to write on PDFs using an active pen, passive stylus, or using our finger, exactly like we would on paper, and simply mark on PDFs to fill out forms, edit/grade papers, or sign documents. Squid is a vector-based application that keeps our notes looking great at any zoom level and on any device. With the stroke eraser tool, we can rapidly erase full letters and words, or simply sections of words with the real eraser tool. We may use the selection tool to modify the colour and thickness of our handwriting as well as resize a drawing without losing quality.

Users may use it in combination with Google Drive and Classroom to view their stored notes, which display as thumbnails, from their dashboard. It is also feasible to connect it to another monitor and use it as an interactive whiteboard or for presentations. By wirelessly casting to a TV/projector, we may turn our smartphone into a virtual whiteboard or deliver presentations in a class, meeting, or conference (e.g. using Miracast, Chromecast). Export our notes as PDFs or pictures, then share or save them to the cloud. Squid utilises active pens on competent devices to produce lifelike, pressure-sensitive handwriting. Built-in templates, as well as image and PDF importing features, allow us to retain practically any type of note, including Cornell notes, graphic organisers, drawings, and diagrams, and even annotated pictures.
